Eron (Rimini, 1973) is regarded as one of the most important Graffiti artists in Italy, and a pioneer in the writing scene. His artworks, with their strong visual and social impact, are created through a highly personalized painting technique. In fact, thanks to his skilful mastery of spray-paint, the artist creates a delicate sfumato that lends an incorporeal and evocative aesthetic result to his works.
Eron has exhibited in many prestigious institutions including the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, the 56º Biennial in Venice, and the Chelsea Art Museum in New York. Among his solo exhibitions: REVOLUTION PER MINUTE, at the Saatchi Gallery (London, 2018), Soul of the Sea/ERON 2016, Istituto dell’Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani (Rome, 2016), Soul of the Wall, Blue Project Foundation (Barcelona, Spain, 2015), ERON, Mar-Museu d’Arte della città di Ravenna (Italy, 2014) and ERON-BLENDING, Palazzo Sums (Repubblica di San Marino, 2013). In 2018 Eron made what is now considered to be one of his largest artworks. The work, named W.A.L.L. (Walls Are Love’s Limits), was made in City Life, the new district in Milan. A thousand square meters of poetic visions, with a strong political content. A wall, against all the walls in the world.
Eron has also participated to several collective exhibitions, festivals and art projects such as Nuart Festival 2016 (Stavanger, Norway, 2016), Hamlet Festival (Elsinore, Denmark, 2016), Icastica, Colors, Urban Nation, Museum of Urban Contemporary Art (Berlin, Germany, 2016), Codici Sorgenti, Palazzo Platamone (Catania, Italy 2016), Urban Legends, MACRO – Museo d’Arte Contemporanea di Roma (Rome, Italy 2014), From Street to Art, Italian Culture Institute in New York (New York, USA, 2014).
