Titled / Untitled
Titled/Untitled si propone di indagare la natura conscia od inconscia dell'opera d'arte attraverso la presenza o l'assenza del suo titolo. Per molti artisti è infatti necessario un incipit, una manifestazione letteraria e filosofica da cui scaturisce il momento creativo, una volontaria scelta di percorrere una determinata strada formale. Per altri al momento della genesi dell'opera è necessaria invece l'assenza di appigli letterari e radiofari mentali che orientino l'opera verso un preciso percorso manifestando la presenza ingombrante della coscienza.
Questi opposti meccanismi creativi saranno presentati all'insegna delle contrapposizioni e delle differenze che rappresentano l'attività artistica stessa. La mostra coinvolgerà un gruppo selezionato di artisti di marca fondamentalmente concettuale dagli anni sessanta ad oggi le cui opere sono strettamente legate al titolo, ovvero si possono comprendere solo a condizione che lo spettatore legga la didascalia che accompagna il lavoro ed un secondo gruppo di artisti sempre a partire dalla fine degli anni sessanta ad oggi, le cui opere "Senza Titolo" si offrono nella loro pura e semplice presentazione lasciando allo spettatore la libertà di decifrazione e di comprensione delle stesse. Le creazioni in mostra offriranno agli spettatori il raro e limitato privilegio di ammirare la fertile spinta immaginifica proveniente da dissimili generazioni artistiche suddivise in due precise catalogazioni.

Titled / Untitled
Titled / Untitled aims at investigating the conscious or unconscious nature of the work of art through the presence or the absence of its title. For many artists it is in fact necessary an incipit, a literary and philosophical input from which the creative moment springs, a volunteer choice to cross a determined formal path. For others instead during the genesis of the work it is necessary a detachment from literary grips and mental radio beacons that might direct the work toward a precise trail manifesting the invasive presence of conscience.
These opposite creative mechanisms will be introduced to the insignia of the oppositions and the differences that represent the artistic activity itself. The exhibition will include a selected group of fundamentally conceptual artists from the Sixties to our days whose works are tightly related to the title, or they can only be understood on condition that the viewer reads the explanation that always accompanies the work, a second group of artists starting from the end of the Sixties to today, whose works "Without Title" offer themselves in their pure and simple presentation leaving the freedom for their interpretation and understanding to the viewer. The works exhibited will offer to the viewers the rare and limited privilege to admire the fertile creative pulse coming from dissimilar artistic generations divided in two precise listings.
